Venice in Rookwood Workshop

Saturday 15 Sep, 11.00am - 3.00pm

The use of masks is an ancient human practice, as masks were often used to disguise, to decorate or, as for Venetian masks, as a symbol of joy and celebration of the good life. Come along and spend some time making your very own mask. Make it as elaborate or as simple as you wish, stay for as long as you like. Become Batman for the day, make a fairy mask, produce a tribal disguise, or simply make an ornamental mask to keep on your wall.

Facilitator: Patrizia Biondi

Location: NEW VENUE - Village Green

Ages: All welcome (under 7 require supervision)

Additional Info: Workshop is free-flow, come as you please. Activities will take approx 30-60mins.

Allow yourself to be guided to random and unexpected areas of the cemetery and enable your imagination and your new tools to guide you to do the rest!

Facilitator: Maria Christou

Location: NEW VENUE - Village Green

Ages: All welcome (under 7 require supervision)

Additional Info: Drop-in for activities starting on the hour at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. Bring your smartphone or SLR camera.
