Breath (2013)

Breath explores the presence of the past as a residue that creates and informs the present. Memory and storytelling become intertwined, as do the paths of life and death. The past is memorialised in the present, seeping and echoing through landscapes, and told through stories that simultaneously become memories and fairytales. These memories are anchored in place, and activated by storytelling, implying the interplay between landscape and narrative as the meeting of the past and the present.
