1. Sandstone blocks collection

Please contact Matthew Johnson 0484 910 043 matthew.johnson@mmplm.com.au to arrange a time to collect your sandstone block.

2. Audio tour

Exhibition visitors love hearing stonemasons, apprentices and artists, talk about their work on the audio tour. Please use the voice memo app on your phone to record up to 4 minutes talking about your work. Then email us the file and written transcript hidden@rookwoodcemetery.com.au

3. Bio and carving description edits

All changes to titles, bio and carving description, including any sponsorship or thank-yous, must be made by 14 August. Please email to: kath.fries@mmplm.com.au.

4. Work in progress photos and headshot

- Progress photos: we’d like to share updates on social media as you work on your carving, please take some photos and email to us. Or when you post them on Instagram tag @hiddeninrookwood and we’ll re-post from there.- Headshot: each stonemason and artist will have a webpage on the HIDDEN website, introducing them to exhibition visitors. It’ll have your name, headshot, photo of your installed work, work details, bio, carving description, audio tour and audio tour transcript. Please email kath.fries@mmplm.com.au your headshot, or photo of you, by 14 August.

5. Deliver carving to Rookwood

Please deliver your carving to Matthew Johnson at Rookwood, between 18 – 22 September.

6. Stonemasons Networking Event, HIDDEN Opening Launch

We’re delighted to host a Stonemason’s Networking Event on Saturday 21 September 2-4pm, as part of the HIDDEN launch event. Invitations to both will be sent by 8 Sept. There will be music, food, drinks, speeches, photographs and the award recipients will be announced.

7. Closing event

On the final day of HIDDEN, Sunday 19 November, we’ll have a community bbq raising funds for a charity, music, curator tour. It’ll be nice to gather for a final event on the last day.
